The Kiwanian club is consequently turning to the community for financial support in the coming months to ensure it can fully fund the project as envisioned. (( $75,000 shortfall )) The 150,000 project does not include additional improvements near the attraction to make it more inviting to the public.

So far, Kiwanis has raised $130,000. The Facebook grant will provide $80,000, and Crook County has pledged $30,000 of its transient lodging tax collections. The Kiwanis Club, meanwhile, has earmarked $20,000 for the project.

The Splash Pad will be located on Stryker Field near the corner of Northeast Fourth and Court streets

Grade School Weekend Back Pack Food Project-          Donation

Provides a weekly backpack full of food for child and families in need.

Easter Egg Hunt at Stryker Field-              Service

We provided over 500 of our local children with an Easter Egg Hunt. The fire Dept provided a pancake feed and 3 local companies donated funds so we could award 8 children in 4 age groups with new bicycles.

Crook County High School Scholarships-            Major   Donation

We award several CCHS students with college scholarships.

4th of July Pancake Breakfast-                Service and fundraising

A classic start to the day on July 4th.

Rodeo and Rodeo Parade-                   Service

We provide organizational duties to Prineville's premier summer event.

Christmas Parade-        Service

We provide organizational duties for this annual parade.

Kiwanis Summer School Reading Program-       Donation /Primary funding

A summer school reading program staffed by professional teachers.

CCHS Senior Graduation Party-       Donation

Dolly Parton's Imagination Librarty-              Donation

For all children through age 5 in Crook County. They receive a book in the mail once a month through age 5.
